About my meditation practice and stuff blog…
I teach and practice mindfulness meditation, which really means I practice both mindfulness and metta (loving-kindness). Also I practice Vedic meditation. Sometimes those different meditation techniques are told that they don’t go together or people have strong opinions about them… Well, I’m figuring it out myself.
I’m a native of Japan. My family is pretty standard Buddhism/ Shintoism family. My favorite thing was when our family Shingon monk came and chanted because I got special sweets afterwards. I went to pretty strict ethic school in Japan so that’s that.
Through meditation practice here in the US, I’m finding out more about my home country and culture and I love it!!!
